This listing is for the Northwestern Wildcats bobbin head. He was made in 1962, is part of the Collegiate football set and stands over 6 inches tall. He looks great, displays very nicely but has a few issues under his head. Nothing major, no running cracks, just some slight chips. The Northwestern mascot’s name is Willie the Wildcat. However, the teams first mascot was a live, caged bear cub from the Lincoln Park Zoo named Furpaw. In 1923, Furpaw was driven to every game to greet the fans? But after a bad season, it was determined that Furpaw was bad luck and he was replaced by Willie the Wild Cat. I guarantee him to be in excellent condition and 100% original.
