AUBURN Mets Square White Base Rare
This listing is for a 1960s Auburn Mets Nodder. He was made in 1962 and is part of the White Base baseball set. The Mets wanted a doll for their minor league team in Auburn so this guy was stamped instead of creating a new decal for only a handful of dolls. He stands 7 inches tall and he displays very nicely. He’s completely original, so even the AUBURN name was applied back in the sixties or you’d see it under the black light. I personally love the orange sleeves of this guy. I guarantee this doll to be 100% original and in near mint condition. He has had no touch ups whatsoever and only the small spot on his back and neck is keeping him from being graded as mint. He has no chips or cracks and I love this one.
